Project: 

    Waterproof Asphalt Shingle Roof, using "White" to Reflect Heat, Reduce A/C Energy Costs

Surface Preparation: 

    Treat with "Clorox" to Kill Mold/Mildew; Moderate Pressure Water Rinse

Prime Coat:  

    SOMAY Product No. 7751, "Prime & Seal"

Intermediate and Finish Coats:

    SOMAY Product No. 842, SOMAY Elastomeric "ROOF MASTIC", Sealer & Protector
    Applied at 20 mils dry film thickness per coat
    Color:  White

Total:   40 mils dry film thickness for 3 coats

Note:  This asphalt shingle roof, protected with SOMAY "ROOF MASTIC", survived Hurricane Andrew's 175 mph. winds.  All the nearby shingle roofs sustained extensive damage.  Picture was taken five (5) years after coating application.
