Food (Honey) Processing Equipment

Project:  Protect Food (Bee Honey) Processing Carbon Steel Tank used with centrifuge to extract honey from bee honeycombs, using coating approved by FDA for direct contact with food for human consumption.

Surface Preparation:  Sandblast to SSPC-SP10, NACE 2, Near-White Metal Blast, to obtain 2-3 mil  (51-76 Microns) surface profile.

Prime and Finish Coat:  Two coats of SOMAY/Carboline "Carboguard" 891, Cycloaliphatic Amine Epoxy 5 mils (127 Microns) Dry Film Thickness (DFT) per coat.  Color:  White.

Total:  10 mils (254 Microns) Dry Film Thickness (DFT) for 2 coats
