Asian Elephant Cage

Project:  Protect Carbon Steel Cage Bars of Asian Elephant Cage at Public Zoo from deterioration due to exposure to the tropical climate and corrosive environment caused by animal wastes.

Surface Preparation:  SSPC-SP3, Power Tool Cleaning

Prime  &  Intermediate Coats:  Two coats of SOMAY/Carboline "Carbomastic" 90, Cycloaliphatic Amine Epoxy, Color: "Aluminum".   Applied @ 5 mils (127 Microns) Dry Film Thickness (DFT) per coat, 10 mils (254 Microns) Dry Film Thickness for both coats.

Finish Coat: One Coat of SOMAY/Carboline "Carbothane" 134 HG, Aliphatic Acrylic Polyurethane

Custom Color:  Brown.  Applied @ 2.5 mils (63.5 microns) Dry Film Thickness (DFT)

Total:    12.5 mils (317.5 Microns) Dry Film Thickness for 3 coats
