A Do-It-Yourself 'ROOF MASTIC" System Application
Private Residence, Weston, Broward County, Florida

 

Project: 

    To Waterproof, "Hurricane Proof", Protect & Preserve the Tile Roof of a Florida Residence

Surface Preparation: 

    Bleach with "Clorox" to kill all mildew.  Pressure Clean with high pressure water blast.

Prime Coat:  

    SOMAY Product No. 7751 – SOMAY "PRIME & SEAL" @ max. 200 sq.ft./gallon

2nd Step:

    Caulk spaces between tiles with SOMAY Product No. 992, SOMAY "PATCH & SEAL"

Intermediate Coat:

    SOMAY Product No. 842, "ROOF MASTIC", Sealer & Protector @ max. 50 sq.ft./gallon

Finish Coat:

    SOMAY Product No. 842, "ROOF MASTIC", Sealer & Protector @ max. 50 sq.ft./gallon
    Color:  Terracotta

Total:    40 mils dry film thickness for all 3 coats
