Project:
Replace old, dried, brittle, cracking roof coating that has failed. Recoat with waterproofing roof coating that will reflect
heat to save air conditioning expenses.
Surface Preparation:
Scrape off all old coating to achieve a smooth surface. Pressure clean with a 2.5-3% chlorine/water solution to kill mold and mildew, and completely remove all dirt that could
inhibit adhesion of new coating to the substrate.
Apply First Coat:
One Coat of SOMAY Product No. 814, SOMAY Rubber Waterproofing Coating @ 70 sq.ft./gal. for 10 mils dry film thickness for one coat.
Apply Second Coat:
One Coat of SOMAY Product No. 814, SOMAY Rubber Waterproofing Coating @ 70 sq.ft./gal. for 10 mils dry film thickness for the second coat.
Total: Required minimum of 20 mils dry film thickness over the entire roof for 2 coats NOTE:
