"BITUMASTIC 50" is a single package cold applied coal tar coating. The unique heavy-duty, thixotropic properties of "BITUMASTIC 50"
make it especially suitable for use on steel where severe corrosion can be expected, especially for underground or underwater applications. Once mixed, this product is applicable in one coat at up to eight times the thickness of normal protective coatings for buried steel. Meets Navy Bureau of Docks Specification.
"BITUMASTIC 50" is VOC Compliant. Not for use on concrete or masonry.

is a two-component, chemically cured, coal tar epoxy polyamide which can be applied as thick as 35 mils (dry) in one coat, to provide exceptional abrasion, corrosion and chemical resistance.

"CARBOGUARD"® 890
is Carboline's most versatile and most widely used 2-component, high-solids, high-build, high-gloss, cross-linked epoxy mastic. It can be used as a self-priming, single coat corrosion protector on steel, providing high performance, excellent chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, unusual flexibility, tolerance of damp substrates, and easy application by brush, roller or spray over hand-tool cleaned surfaces.
"CARBOGUARD" 890 is used for interior floors, walls, piping, equipment and structural steel, and for exterior coatings on rail cars and industrial environments subject to corrosive atmosphere,
including chemical plants, offshore oil and gas, pharmaceutical, food, water and wastewater treatment plants, utilities, etc. Use 2 coats for immersion in water and wastewater service. FDA approval for
incidental food contact areas. VOC Compliant.

is a polyamido-amine epoxy mastic coating, 2-component, 100% volume solids, solvent-free, all-purpose, user friendly, surface tolerant, self priming, single coat product. High performance protection providing exceptional resistance to impact, abrasion, chemicals and high levels of moisture. Can be applied by brush, roller or spray on top of practically any surface except old "latex" (waterborne) paints, and can be a gloss finish coat itself, or can be topcoated with acrylics, other epoxies and polyurethanes. Excellent scrubbability: Meets NFPA 101 for Class A Fire Rating, so is useful in hospitals, nursing homes, prisons, etc. Meets all current VOC and AIM regulations. Formerly called "Multi-Gard".

"CARBOGUARD"® 561
is an epoxy-polyamide, 2-component, 1:1 mix ratio, user-friendly coating for steel and concrete surfaces that meets all requirements for ANSI/NSF Std. 61 for potable water tanks, as well as AWWA C210-92 for use on the interior and exterior of steel water pipes. Self-priming. Excellent application characteristics, including readiness for use as soon as parts are combined (no induction time required) and extended recoat time. Available in "White" and 5 colors. Satin finish. Compliant with all VOC and AIM regulations.

is a two-component, high-build, aluminum pigmented epoxy mastic with excellent adhesion to rusted steel and aged coatings, including aged galvanized surfaces. "CARBOMASTIC" 90 ALUMINUM
provides excellent protection and broad spectrum chemical resistance performance with minimal surface preparation. "CARBOMASTIC" 90 ALUMINUM is excellent for use on highway bridges and other

is a high solids, modified epoxy mastic, aluminum pigmented, providing excellent barrier protection against corrosion, even when applied over minimally prepared steel surfaces such as SSPC-SP-2 (Hand Tool)
or SP-3 (Power Tool) cleaning, or over existing coatings, or over firm rust. It is self priming. Excellent for field touch-up of galvanized steel or zinc-rich primer. Can be a finish coat
itself or can be top-coated with acrylics, alkyds, epoxies and polyurethanes.

is a unique, very high solids, two-component, thixotropic polymeric epoxy, universal primer and tie coat with capillary action to assure intercoat adhesion. It is a cross-linked penetrating sealer with excellent wetting properties used in place of "wash primers" on aluminum, etc.
"RUSTBOND" is highly flexible with good chemical and solvent resistance, and accepts a variety of topcoats. It is corrosion resistant and can be used over marginally prepared steel,
including galvanized steel and over most old/existing coatings, which then can be top-coated with practically any kind of finish, including most epoxies, polyurethanes, alkyds or acrylics.

is a chlorinated rubber-based, zinc-rich, pigmented, "cold galvanizing" coating providing corrosion protection for steel surfaces similar to galvanizing. A single coat is appropriate for atmospheric exposure; multiple coats should be used for immersion service. Widely used to repair damaged galvanized steel surfaces.

is a high solids inorganic zinc rich primer that protects steel galvanically, eliminating sub-film corrosion. It easily meets VOC regulations regarding metal filled coatings, while providing the proven performance of alkyl silicate zinc rich coatings technology.
"CARBO-ZINC" 11 provides excellent corrosion protection and resistance to salting, as well as high zinc loading per square foot. It is typically used for chemical plants, pulp and paper

is an organic zinc-rich epoxy primer for steel surfaces. 81% zinc by weight in the dry film. 3-component, solvent-based, extremely fast cure-to-topcoat (30 minutes at 75° F (24° C) and 50% relative humidity), with excellent adhesion and undercutting resistance on properly prepared steel surfaces. is a two-component, acrylic aliphatic polyurethane. It is an attractive, very high gloss ("wet look"), high solids urethane topcoat, which is easily applied by airless or conventional spray to yield a smooth, easily cleanable surface.

features excellent weatherability, flexibility and abrasion resistance. It is recommended as a finish coat for the exterior of tanks, equipment, piping, structural steel and concrete surfaces. It is an excellent coating for use in chemical processing, pulp and paper, petro-chemical, offshore, railcars, heavy marine, institutional and waste treatment where a highly chemical and abrasion resistant and attractive coating is desired.
"CARBOTHANE" 134 HG meets the most stringent VOC regulations. "CARBOTHANE" 134 HG is often used to provide a "graffiti resistant" protective finish (clear or

is an aliphatic acrylic polyester polyurethane, low sheen, "satin" finish that provides excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals, abrasion, impact and ultraviolet light exposure, thus offering long-term weathering performance in mild and aggressive exterior environments. are aliphatic acrylic polyurethanes, 2-component, available in either ultra high-gloss for a "wet look" finish or an attractive satin finish when less gloss is desired. CLEAR COATS provide
excellent resistance to ultra-violet (UV) light degradation, as well as excellent impact and abrasion resistance because of the hard finish provided. The high-gloss finish provides excellent

"CARBOLINE A-788" SPLASH ZONE MASTIC
is a two-component 100% solids epoxy polyamide mastic that can be applied underwater and will cure underwater or in air. "CARBOLINE A-788" is used to protect metals, concrete, wood pilings,

"PHENOLINE"® 187 System
consists of a Prime Coat and Finish Coat. It is a 2-component modified epoxy phenolic, amine adduct cured, high-build, tank lining and/or secondary containment area lining and floor coating for concrete and steel surfaces. Provides excellent splash and spillage resistance to many harsh chemicals, including acids, alkalis, solvents, jet fuels, petroleum, salt water, municipal and industrial waste water, etc. Also has excellent abrasion resistance and flexibility, which make it an exceptionally versatile, all around, multi-purpose protective coating with VOC and AIM regulations compliance.

– Aromatic polyurethane elastomeric, 100% solids by volume, solvent free, 2-component, ultra high build, ultra fast cure, flexible coating with outstanding abrasion resistance. A single coat lining for potable water tanks, which has ANSI/NSF Std. 61 approval and AWWA C210-92 for interior and exterior of water pipes and aggressive immersion and containment applications in steel or concrete tanks. Can apply a true monolithic film as thick as 125 mils (3,125 microns) DFT. At normal 25 mil (625 micron) application at 77° F (22° C) cures immediately after application for immersion service. Not recommended for concentrated acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones or chlorinated solvents. Use Polibrid 670 Primer on concrete surfaces. Compliant with all VOC and AIM regulations. Note: Polibrid can be sold only to and applied by applicators who must be pre-approved by Polibrid prior to the sale.
