Surface Preparation:
Sandblast above the waterline, through the splash zone and below the waterline to SSPC-SP-10; NACE 2, Near White Metal Blast to a 3 mil profile on the steel surface
One Coat:
SOMAY/UNDERWATER TECHNOLOGIES® "HYCOTE" 151 Polyamine Epoxy Coating. Apply within 30 minutes of sandblasting. Application by hand below the waterline; application by spray above the
waterline. Total: 20 mils film thickness applied at spreading rate of approx. 60 sq.ft./gal. (= 1.51 sq.m./L)
