777 – SOMAY "PREMIUM" "PST" – PRIMER/SEALER/TOPCOAT – A Premium Quality, 100% poly-acrylic, waterborne, universal, all-purpose, exterior and interior, clear, non-yellowing coating that can be used as a Primer, a Sealer, a Waterproofing Coating and a Topcoat or Finish Coating.  It has excellent resistance to ultraviolet (sun) light degradation, excellent adhesion to practically every properly cleaned and prepared surface, and dries to a hard finish that has excellent resistance to wear due to normal pedestrian traffic.  No solvents, no fumes … exceptionally user and environmentally friendly.  "PST" will NOT "blush" or turn "white" if moisture develops under the coating, but will remain clear.  Because SOMAY "PST" will always "breathe", it allows moisture vapor to escape through the cured coating film.  "PST" can be applied to concrete, stucco, masonry, non-glazed porous brick, stone, concrete blocks, coral rocks and other porous decorative façade materials, wood shingles, wood siding, wood decks, docks or porch floor surfaces, wood paneling (interior and exterior), metal including aluminum, copper, brass, zinc, galvanized steel or primed tin or ferrous metal. .  "PST" can be used on practically any well-drained roof surface, including wood shingles, split cedar shakes, asphalt shingles, fiberglass shingles, concrete tiles, clay tiles, barrel tiles, 90-lb. slate, roll roofing, etc. Over 20% Vol. Solids = 200 sq.ft./gal./mil DFT = only 7¢/sq.ft/mil DFT.  [MSDS]

7751 - SOMAY "PRIME & SEAL" - Primer-Sealer.  A modified acrylic, solvent-thinned, heavy-duty, industrial strength, all purpose, clear sealer for interior and exterior use as a first coat, primer, undercoater or surface conditioner.  Very effective as a primer on porous or chalky surfaces, including flat tile, barrel tile, concrete, masonry, stone, brick, wood, metal, asphalt shingles, slate, roll roofing and other surfaces.  This primer enhances the waterproofing properties of elastomeric top coatings, and is recommended as the primer for SOMAY's "ROOF MASTIC" waterproofing coating system on asphalt based roof surfaces such as asphalt shingles, roll roofing, tar paper, etc. Also especially useful on buildings in the Caribbean, where masonry surfaces are frequently contaminated with salts, since SOMAY Product No. 7751 acts as a chemical barrier to keep the salts from leaching out of the surface and attacking the surface coating.  Maximum spreading rate is 200 sq.ft./gal, but can be considerably lower (maybe only 100 sq.ft./gal.) on very porous surfaces. 530 – "PREMIUM" 100% ACRYLIC LATEX SURFACE CONDITIONER & PRIMER for POROUS SURFACES (White) – This is an excellent all-around premium grade primer for exterior and interior application to all porous surfaces, including concrete, stucco, plaster, wallboard, wood, etc.  It is also recommended for use on previously painted exterior surfaces on which the paint has slightly deteriorated as evidenced by a light or moderate degree of powdering or chalking on the surface.  Because of the unique oil emulsion in the formulation, Surface Conditioner & Primer will prime, seal, penetrate and help to bind light surface powder or chalk.  This is NOT a substitute for proper surface preparation.  Over 41% Vol. Solids = 663 sq.ft./gal./mil DFT = only 2¢/sq.ft/mil DFT .  [MSDS]

553 – ACRYLIC LATEX PRIMER/UNDERCOATER – A very high quality, acrylic latex-based, waterborne, primer/undercoater, white, formulated especially for exterior or interior use on painted or unpainted surfaces.  Use on wood, masonry, drywall and plaster.  May be used as the primer under solvent-borne (oil based) or waterborne (latex based) finish coats.  Not recommended as a primer on unprimed ferrous metal surfaces.  Over 40% Vol. Solids = 648 sq.ft./gal./mil DFT = only 2¢/sq.ft/mil DFT. 550 – RAPID DRY SEALER – A high quality, very fast drying, exterior/interior, primer/sealer, vinyl/toluenated/alkyd-based, solvent-borne (mineral spirits and V M & P naphtha) for use when a rapid drying, white, primer/sealer is required.  An excellent "sanding sealer".  Use over water stains, fire, smoke and soot damaged areas, over wood putty, etc.  Will completely seal the smoke or sooty smell.  Can be used as a dry-drop ceiling coating for ceilings 20 ft. or higher, with temperatures above 70° F and humidity below 50%.  Can be used as the finish coat when a very fast drying paint is required and will give a very hard, easy to wash flat finish, especially useful in bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, schools, commercial buildings, etc., whenever rapid drying is of primary importance. 636 – FERROUS METAL PRIMER – A premium quality, rust and corrosion inhibitive, alkyd-based, solvent-borne (mineral spirits), red oxide primer for use on exterior or interior ferrous metal surfaces.  This primer meets U.S. Fed. Govt. Spec. TT-P-636.  Over 45% Vol. Solids = 730 sq.ft./gal./mil DFT = only 4¢/sq.ft/mil DFT .  [MSDS]

539 - FHA 60-2 MASONRY SEAL, PRIME & BLOCK FILL - A coarse texture, concrete block filler made to the FHA Spec. No. 60-2, for application to rough concrete block or stucco exterior wall surface, to help make the surface smoother, prior to the application of a finish coat of high quality latex paint.  Over 50% Volume Solids = 802 sq.ft./gal.mil DFT = 2¢ sq.ft,/gal./mil DFT.  Normally applied at 100 to 150 sq.ft./gal. to smooth porous surfaces.
