times are based on a temperature of 75° F. (24° C.) and relative humidity of 50%. Pot life and cure times will be shorter at higher temperatures and/or lower humidity; and longer at lower temperatures and/or
higher humidity.
NOTE: It is essential that the applicator read and carefully observe all safety, surface preparation, product mixing, induction time, pot life, and temperature and humidity parameters, as well
as all application instructions on the Product Data Sheet and Material Safety Data Sheets when using these products. SOMAY offers detailed surface preparation instructions on request.
NOTE: All
coverage rates and film thickness numbers are theoretical (i.e. based on application to smooth, non-porous surfaces like plate glass), and do NOT allow for rough or porous surfaces, or for less than 100% transfer
efficiency, which MUST be considered when calculating the appropriate quantity of material to order. Most professional, experienced applicators of high performance coatings assume a minimum 10% loss factor under
the most ideal conditions, and sometimes as high as 20% depending on the situation.
