The COLOR of Asphalt or Fiberglass Shingle roofs is easy to change – so easy you can Do-It-Yourself! Just use the
following SOMAY Roof Coatings. First clean the shingle roof surface, using detergent to remove grease or dirt and "Clorox" to kill any mold, mildew and
fungus; then rinse with water and let dry.1 - For the 1st Coat -
Apply one coat of SOMAY Product No. 7751, SOMAY "PRIME & SEAL" at 200 sq.ft. per gal. at 1.4 Mils. Let dry. Costs only 10¢ per sq. ft.!
2 - For the 2nd Coat -
Apply one coat of SOMAY Product No. 842, SOMAY "ROOF MASTIC"®
at 50 sq.ft. per gal. Costs only 42¢ per sq.ft. for "White" (Stock Colors slightly more)
3 - For the 3rd Coat - (Optional)
Apply one of SOMAY's Roof Paints in your choice of color and finish. Either:
(a) SOMAY "STERI-SHIELD" Fungistatic Paint, No. 8630
Eggshell Finish - @ 368 sq.ft. per gal. = 7¢ per sq.ft. for "White"
(Terracotta slightly more). (b) SOMAY "Premium" Acrylic Latex No. 682 - Semi-Gloss Finish -
@ 227 sq.ft. per gal. = 8¢ per sq.ft. for "White"
(Terracotta slightly more)
(c) SOMAY "Premium" Acrylic Latex No. 345 - Flat Finish-
@ 230 sq.ft.per gal. = 5¢ per sq.ft. for "White"
(Terracotta slightly more)
