A combined TOTAL of forty (40) mils dry film thickness will provide years of waterproofing on a sloped metal roof surface.
Colors such as Terracotta, Beige, Gray, Ivory and Red are also available in "ROOF MASTIC" at extra cost. Terracotta is also available in "STERI-SHIELD" and Product 682 at extra
cost. Custom colors are available in Product 630 at additional cost Minimum order is 50 gals. of 1 color in 1 product, with payment-in-full with the order. Custom color prices are based on the
cost to make each color.
SOMAY "POLY-MESH", sandwiched between 2 layers of "ROOF MASTIC", should be used to help seal leaks at joints or connections, such as where corrugated
galvanized metal sheets overlap, and to seal holes causing leaks where fasteners, such as screws, bolts, or nails, have rusted or worked loose, or where rubber or plastic waterproofing grommets have
deteriorated or worn out; and help waterproof flashings, valleys, gutters, standing seams, etc., following the directions outlined in the SOMAY "ROOF MASTIC" Application Brochure.
Coverage rates are theoretical for "smooth, non-porous surfaces" (such as glass) and assume 100% transfer efficiency. Rough and/or porous surfaces will reduce spreading rates and require the use of
more material. Wastage rate will vary from 10% to 30%, depending on application method used and the care and skill of the applicator.
NOTE: All pot life/cure times are based on a
temperature of 75° F. (24° C.) and relative humidity of 50%. Pot life and cure times will be shorter at higher temperatures and/or lower humidity; and longer at lower temperatures and/or higher
humidity.

parameters, as well as all application instructions on the Product Data Sheet and Material Safety Data Sheets when using these products. SOMAY offers detailed surface preparation instructions on
